Lauren has been working as a commercial artist since 2000. Straight out of the Rhode Island School of Design, she joined the Creative Services Department at Hasbro toys. Eager to take a big bite out of the Big Apple, she left Hasbro for Mecca Studios in New York City. At Mecca she became lead designer and illustrator for the Baby Einstein book series. She continued to build her career in children's media as a senior designer/art director for Classic Media (an Entertainment Rights group company). Freelance clients include Scholastic, Hasbro, Sterling Publishing, Disney Publishing, HIT Entertainment, and Victoria's Secret to name a few.
